THANK GOODNESS FOR THE BILL OF RIGHTS.

Anybody following the current goings on in Washington DC can’t help but wonder. While the Left is calling the Right paranoid, what with the filibuster over possible infringement by our own government involving drone attacks on our own citizens on ourown solid, it becomes more and more frightenly clear that something is in the works. more @ https://roadtosuccess.us Tshirts and posters @ http://PosterPalooza.info

Republican senators McCain and Graham maybe should be a little more careful before they start blasting Senator Paul for orchestrating the fillibuster as a check and balance if nothing else. Maybe that ‘roasting’ of Attorney General Eric Holder Wednesday evening was another good effort in checks and balances to keep Holder and the Obama administratoin on their toes before they continue doing radical things.

We’re seeing too many new laws or attempted laws come down from above The Right to Bare Arms is just one of the Bill of Rights that the Obama forces are messing with. Then we have reports of enhanced internal surveilance and even the possibility of the US using drone attacks on its own people.

We’ve seen this kind of stuff happening recently in third world / communist countires but nobody would ever think it could happen here in the good old US of A. Oh no. Oh yes… and it’s happening.

So, DON’T GET COMPLACENT. obama’s in power for the remainder of this ‘lame duck’ four year term and he can try to get away with whatever he wants. with a lapdog press, Obama has been making threats left and right. Finally, now, we have seen some backbone resistance from a few Republican Senators like Sentators Paul Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.

They had Holder pinned to the wall last night, and rightly so; he couldn’t orwouldn’t even answer to the constitution when asked a simple question. Finally, after typical stall tactics and Cruz holding him to the fire, he did admit an action would be unconstituTional.

But, don’t let anything get past Obama. We’ve already seen our middle clas being swallowed up by the lower class. Trailing in the footsteps of eerily similar leaders such as Venezuela’s late Hugo Chavez and other socialist-style eaders the U.S. can end up right there as a democracy turned socialist.

The Obamas continue to play hard Chicago-style politics while the Republicans watch with little action, except that of Paul and the few others. May the rest of the Republicans wake up soon to prevent a possible catastrophe., http://PosterPalooza.info

THEY SAID THAT: Congresswoman Maxine Waters ‘170 Million Jobs’ Lost

THEY SAID THAT: Congresswoman Maxine Waters ‘170 Million Jobs’ Lost

What better way to start off Road To Success’ New Regular Feature ‘THEY SAID THAT’ than with her recent statement on the Sequester

THEY SAID THAT: Congresswoman Maxine Waters ‘170 Million Jobs’ Lost

The only problem is that there are not even 170 million jobs in America, only 134 million. Later, fortunately, for Waters, an aid slipped her a piece of paper with the correct amount of prospective jobs lost, a mere 750,000, with which she corrected herself

HOSPITAL MAKES A

DIFFERENCE – CHOOSE BEST

HOSPITAL

Many don’t consider they may have a choice of hospitals when going for inpatient or outpatient visits, but one’s choice of hospital can make a big difference, sometimes a life altering difference.

As the above chart indicates for a sampling of hospitals in the San Francisco Oakland East Bay Area, there is quite a range, from a high score of 62 at John Muir Concord to a low score of 44 at Sutter Delta medical center in antioch, for this small sampling. (Consomer Reports). There are at least two online safety score guides, ConsumerReports.org (as above) or http://www.hospitalsafetyscore.org/ There are overall scores, as above, or using ‘A,B,C ‘ grading as with http://www.hospitalsafetyscore.org/ , which are broken down specific categories where one can check the prominence of infections, frequency with which one must return to hospital following initial visit, costs, etc. For ConsumerReports you may need to sign up with them, though it may be the easier of the two systems to follow.

Surprisingly, some of the hospitals that you thought had great reputations may not be so popular with actual patients, themselves, who have spent time int he hospitals. Witness world reknown UCSF in San Francisco, which manages only a ‘B’ score (http://www.hospitalsafetyscore.org/) and John Muir Walnut Creek, which manages only a ’45’ (ConsumerReports.org)

We recently had personal experience at the two John Muirs noted above. We totally agree with the above nuimbers, finding John Muir Concord far superior, all around, as compared to John Muir Walnut Creek, surprisingly, despite the fact that the Walnut Creek has a brand new campus with the latest surgical tools and procedures. Of course, a major decision as to choice of hospital deals with the particular medical need, and different hospitals are also rated by medical procedure.

So, next time you or your loved one must go to a hospital you may want to check one or both above reports.
