Are you like us and prefer Daylight Savings Time – and would prefer to keep it all year ’round?
Well, it’s not that difficult to do that. You don’t have to depend on everyone else and be a sheep and do what they do. Of course, if you have a 9-5 job, it might be a little challenge but you can still get around it.

1) Don’t change your clocks. Don’t do a thing
Of course, it doesn’t hurt to let your cell phone adjust automatically to everyone else’s ways… just in fact you occasionally go crazy and forget if you’re supposed to be an hour ahead or an hour behind.
2) Maintain your life as you did before November 1, waking up when the sun is just coming up, or whatever…
You now have an extra hour to do whatever you want. You can get some of the stuff done you normally do late at night when you’re more awake, Or, go outside and enjoy the rising sun, albeit maybe a little chilly. Great time to exersize, feed the birds, etc.
If you have a regular job, you just go to work an hour later. Yes, it may be dark when you come home but no big deal. Too late to go out and enjoy the sun anyway – or, you can get a flashlight, perhaps a heater, and still do some outdoor activities. Maybe even catch the sunset depending where you live.
Someone (Benjamin Franklin?) once said, ‘Early to Bed, Early to Rise Makes a Man/Person Healthy, Wealth and Wise.’ Whether or not this is really true, it definitely seems to be healthy and nice to enjoy the morning light, which you won’t get in the evening, anyway. True or not, ‘early to rise’ seems to work for the birds, rats and other animals. They certainly don’t change their time habits twice a year. Thank natural!
So, give it a try – and see if it doesn’t work for you. If nothing else it savings you going around the house changing clocks twice a year. But, really, it’s the normal, healthy way – the natural way. We weren’t intended to change our sleep cycles twice a year. Let us know how it goes for you…
